Job Title: Sr. Data Visualization Consultant – UX/UI Focus (3+ Years Experience)

Location: US – Philadelphia (Onsite Only)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Visualization Consultant to join our team. This role requires expertise in designing, prototyping, and building top-tier business dashboards that transform data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will excel at selecting the right chart types, structuring dashboard layouts, and applying data visualization best practices. Additionally, a solid understanding of UX/UI principles is essential to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather detailed visualization requirements through workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions.

  • Create wireframes and prototypes for dashboards in tools such as PowerPoint, Figma, or Canva, focusing on best practices in visual storytelling and clarity.

  • Build and implement dashboards in tools such as Power BI or Tableau, ensuring alignment with client needs and data visualization best practices.

  • Translate client goals into visually intuitive dashboards that focus on actionable metrics and user-friendly design.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in data visualization, with a strong analytics background.

  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as PowerPoint, Figma, or Canva.

  • Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau, with a willingness to learn if not already proficient.

  • Proven skills in data visualization principles, with experience producing high-caliber business dashboards and designs.

  • Solid understanding of UX/UI best practices, with an emphasis on user-centered design to ensure dashboards and visualizations are intuitive, engaging, and align with client needs.

  • Strong knowledge of how businesses analyze and interpret data, with the ability to translate insights into compelling visualizations following data visualization best practices.

  • Clear communicator who can effectively gather requirements, present insights, and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Previous experience in a client-facing consulting role is a plus.
