The mission of the MD Department of Health is to improve the health status of every Maryland resident and to promote access to quality healthcare. MDH regulates healthcare providers, facilities, and organizations, and manages direct services to patients, where appropriate. The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development is a pivotal state government agency dedicated to supporting and nurturing the labor force of New Jersey. NJDOL is responsible for administering a variety of programs that benefit workers (i.e., unemployment benefits, workforce training and development, occupational safety, etc.).
